I Ola Ko Uka ʻUmeke Carving with Nalu Andrade

We are excited to host an ʻumeke carving workshop with Nalu Andrade at Pālehua on Saturday, March 28. There are 10 spots open, and each spot can accommodate a family. It is a special opportunity available to people who attend a workday, with priority going to those who join us on February 25 or March 8.

Join Native Hawaiian carver Nalu Andrade and learn about the values and functions of trees and forests, how to access wood, and how to transform it into meaningful and valuable carvings. Carve ʻumeke from recovered wood and support restoration of our forests while practicing forest stewardship.
