Join Us for Kūpuna Tuesdays

For a while now, ʻĀina Programs Manager Aliah Irvine regularly welcomed a dedicated group of kūpuna volunteers who wanted to give ongoing time to make lasting change at Pālehua. They came every week for a few hours to talk story and get their hands in the lepo and lau. Such dedicated volunteers are a valuable resource for the kuahiwi and our small nonprofit, and we know there are more who may be interested in such an opportunity, so we’re opening it up this month! Kūpuna Tuesdays are inspired by kūpuna, who may have a little more time and energy to give regularly, but anyone is welcome to join this ongoing volunteer hui. Bring your auntie, bring your grandson, all are welcome.
