String Performance with The Galliards at Ossipoff Cabin - December 7

$165.00

Sunday December 7, 10am-1pm & 3:30-6:30pm (choose below)

Join local string ensemble The Galliards and Pālehua Conservation Initiative at Ossipoff Cabin for a 30-minute performance inspired by the natural beauty and rich spirit of Pālehua. This thoughtfully curated set of instrumental string music, performed by The Galliards, evokes the essence of an ahupuaʻa—flowing from mauka to makai—with melodies that reflect the ocean, valley, native flora and fauna.

Woven into this sonic landscape will be timeless holiday classics and nostalgic midcentury touches, join The Galliards in paying tribute to the legacy of architect Vladimir Ossipoff, whose 1950s cabin still stands as a testament to harmony with nature. Hosted high on the southern ridge of the Waiʻanae mountains in an inspiring space oriented to the environment, this collaboration hopes to bring each guest a sense of clarity and wonder.

The 3-hour experience includes an hour of guided travel up and down the mountain, a 30-minute performance, and time to mingle with the musicians and enjoy the mountain setting. Light bites and wine will be provided.
