Join members of Waitiki 7 and Hi-C Jazz at Ossipoff Cabin for a thoughtfully designed chamber-jazz experience; intimate and meant for close listening. This bespoke program traces a line from midcentury Asia-Pacific sounds to their modern descendants, weaving exotica, bossa nova, and swing into a refined, improvisatory conversation. Enter into a sound world that feels both nostalgic and freshly composed.
Hosted high on the southern ridge of the Waiʻanae mountains in an inspiring space oriented to the environment, this collaboration invites guests to linger, listen, and rediscover cocktail jazz crafted for the Pālehua environment. The 3-hour experience includes an hour of guided travel up and down the mountain, a 30-minute performance, and time to mingle with the musicians and enjoy the mountain setting. Light bites and wine will be provided.

Performers: Helen Liu (violin), Mika Mimura (vibraphone), Karen Lagrimas (voice), Abe Lagrimas Jr. (drums), and Randy Wong (bass)
